EVALUATION QUESTION 2: Where our character(s) come from/ and Social Groups

OUR MAIN CHARACTER IS A JANITOR
Now that we know what he is, we had to present him in a certain way. Our best tool was the way he dressed, since we didn't have overalls and stuff we had to improvise.

To make him look like a janitor we dressed him in the typical attire that a janitor would wear to work

We took the whole 'casual dress' way from the Main character in the stepfather... Who looked like a typical man in his 30s/40s but still had that creepy eeriness about him.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

NOW WE'VE GOT THE WHOLE DRESS THING DOWN, too make a character really creepy
we gotta get someone with a weird stare... As seen in the stepfather the character had this scary weird look he'd give

i also discovered a link with characters like this when looking at the film 'the janitor's closet' as the main character in that also gave the same odd stare!
WE TOOK THIS STARE AND PUT IT ON OUR MAIN CHARACTER
OTHER QUALITIES INCLUDE.... The social class of the characters the janitor from the film 'The janitor' is the type of character that is ranked lowly in terms of social power or economical power. Often looked down upon because of his profession in comparison to higher ranked individuals i.e teachers, doctors etc.
Giving the character a reason to be cold, and hateful.... Kind of as if he is taking out his frustration on his environment... HE IS A GRUMPY/ANGRY character.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The kids playing football were meant to represent the social groups of children although lowest one the socio economic ranking (lower than the janitor). They on the other hand are a lot more carefree and represent the carefree stereotypical teenager whose only concerns are to have fun and party!!!!!
The best example of carefree teenagers are those from the teen DRAMA SKINS!
Although the idea of using teenagers came from the trailer of 'THE JANITOR'S CLOSET'
YOUNG CHARACTERS IN OUR FLIM
YOUNG CHARACTERS FORM 'THE JANITOR'S CLOSET'
